Dr Dan is originally from St Louis Missouri. There he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from St Louis University. He attended dental school at the University of Missouri Kansas City and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree there. During his last year of dental school he was selected to be in the Departmental Honors program for Restorative Dentistry. At graduation he was awarded the Outstanding Clinical Performance Award for Excellence in Prosthodontics—an esteemed honor.
After dental school, Dr Dan completed a three year post-doc training in the field of prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. This training focused on implant dentistry as well as complex esthetic dentistry, such as full-mouth makeovers.
He loves the artistic component of dentistry. It is his passion for reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry that drove him to pursue specialty training in Prosthodontics.
Dr Dan says “Managing complicated cases during my residency helped me to realize that dentistry is about building relationships with patients. Every patient’s unique experience begins when they schedule their first appointment. While achieving a brilliant functional and esthetic result is an important measure of success, the quality of my patients’ overall experience is paramount. I want every patient to feel comfortable and trust that they are receiving the best treatment available. I enjoy the challenge of planning treatment options for patients that fit their specific needs as well as their budget. I strive to provide the highest quality care for each one of my patients. “
Dan is excited to being joining the Santa Fe Dental community. When not at work he loves spending time with his fiancé, Sylvia and their female French Bulldog, Coco Bear. When he’s not busy teaching Coco Bear new tricks, he enjoys biking, skiing and photography.
We are delighted to have such an accomplished and gifted dentist join our dental team.
